The Texas Cultural Trust announces new Board of Directors for 2015-2016.   The Trust’s Board of Directors serves to enhance the visibility and viability of the Texas Cultural Trust, its mission, and its programs.  As a statewide organization, the Trust relies on their outreach to further arts education, advocacy, and economic impact in Texas.  For more information, visit www.txculturaltrust.org.

“I firmly believe that the arts are vital to our state,” says Judy Robison, Chair of the Board of Directors and longtime El Paso resident.  “We see arts as an integral part of educating our children and preparing a 21st century workforce able to compete on a global scale.  The arts are necessary in sustaining our state’s economy, contributing billions of dollars in taxable sales revenue each year and employing 1 in 15 Texas workers.  I look forward to working to advance the Trust’s important mission.”
